儲 存 液 0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.03% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol.
保存條件 Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

產品介紹 background:
This gene encodes a member of the aquaporin family of intrinsic membrane proteins that function as water-selective channels in the plasma membranes of many cells. The encoded protein is the predominant aquaporin found in brain. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Function:
Forms a water-specific channel. Osmoreceptor which regulates body water balance and mediates water flow within the central nervous system.
Subunit:
Homotetramer. Part of a complex containing MLC1, TRPV4, HEPACAM and ATP1B1.
Subcellular Location:
Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue Specificity:
Brain, muscle, heart, kidney, lung, and trachea.
Similarity:
Belongs to the MIP/aquaporin (TC 1.A.8) family.
水通道蛋白(AQPs)廣泛分布于機體不同組織器官中,腦組織中的水通道蛋白主要為AQP4.
AQP-4蛋白主要在星型膠質細胞和室管膜細胞內表達,尤其在于毛細血管和軟腦膜直接接觸的膠質細胞上及血管周表達豐富.
水通道蛋白4的分布特點與其功能密切相關,可能是腦脊液重吸收、滲透壓調節、腦水腫形成等生理、病理過程的分子生物學基礎.研究水通道蛋白4可為腦水腫及水代謝疾病提供分子水平的理論依據,同時為臨床治療腦水腫及水代謝疾病提供一種新途徑.
